Job summary

CNH Industrial in Goodfield, Illinois, is seeking a Quality Engineer 1st Shift to join our team. You will help plan, implement, and sustain the Quality Management System across production.

You will lead inspections, analyze data, coordinate PPAP, coordinate with suppliers, drive continuous improvement, and support cost management and warranty issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, or Statistics.
• Two (2) or more years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements quality programs to maintain standards.
• Works with QA team to inspect products and materials across production stages.
• Analyzes process data to confirm compliance or identify deviations.
• Develops and maintains quality systems and procedures (ISO 9001:2000, QA audits).
• Recommends improved methods and standards to enhance quality.
• Collaborates with suppliers to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Leads projects addressing warranty and plant scrap using PDCA/Kaizen.
• Coordinates with Logistics to secure production and contain defective parts.
• Oversees incoming inspection and PPAP processes; cost reductions.
• Manages Material Review Board / scrap cost control.
