Job summary

Southern Hobby Distribution, LLC. is seeking a Quality Control Lead to oversee picking/packing/shipping lines and support delivery quality efforts. Responsibilities include verifying picked items with RF guns, ensuring packing accuracy, and maintaining 5S housekeeping at all staging areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and 1–3 years in a warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and maintain reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience working in a warehouse preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Control efforts of the Production team: verify picked items with RF gun, ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Spot-check packing/shipping for accuracy and standard compliance.
• Observe shippers to ensure correct measuring, weighing, and shipping rate selection.
• Run and collate end-of-day reports and maintain 5S housekeeping at picking, packing, and shipping stations.
• Assist with quarterly and yearly inventory.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
