Job summary

Pete & Gerry's Organics is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to monitor process compliance with HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards in our poultry operation. You will inspect eggs, verify labeling, and report deviations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in food science or related field preferred.
• Experience in quality control, food production, or egg processing is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with food safety regulations (USDA, FDA, HACCP).
• Inspect eggs for quality, including size, weight, and shell integrity.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of eggs.
• Document and report samples exceeding quality thresholds and coordinate with operations for corrective action.
• Maintain calibration of testing equipment and chemical concentrations.
• Support SQF program and internal audits for continuous improvement.
