Job summary

Air Products is seeking a first‑shift Technical Quality Control Technician in Bethlehem, PA, to perform in‑process and final inspections of turbomachinery components. You will generate detailed inspection reports and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards while maintaining gauge control and supporting continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 3+ years of quality inspection experience, familiarity with GD&T, and experience with SAP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, inspection plans, and standards in a precision environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection applications.
• Ability to interpret quality requirements and ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
• Experience with SAP/MRP systems to review work orders and quality docs.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, receiving, and final inspections to verify process control and product conformity.
• Inspect machinery components and assemblies on scheduled or sampling basis.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and test records for traceability.
• Apply a range of inspection methods including visual, dimensional, dye penetrant, and pressure tests.
• Maintain gauge control, calibration, and traceability of measurement equipment.
• Identify nonconformances and support timely resolution with Manufacturing and Quality leadership.
