Job summary

Rotoflow, a Rotoflow within Air Products, is seeking a 1st shift Assembly Technician in Bethlehem, PA. The role focuses on manufacturing and rebuilding turbomachinery equipment, following ISO 9001 quality standards and strict safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma/GED, 3+ years in mechanical assembly, and proficiency with precision tools, measuring devices, and ERP like SAP. Candidates must be able to operate forklifts and cranes and work in a team-based, union

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
3+ years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience in relevant sectors.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to work in a team-based, union manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, identify, store, issue, and control materials, parts, tools, and equipment.
Perform shipping and receiving operations including packing, crating, and loading.
Maintain required shipping, receiving, and production documentation.
Safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and related lifting equipment.
Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in ERP systems.
Support production by performing mechanical assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and preparation of turbomachinery components.
Meet production schedules and communicate risks to schedule adherence to supervision.
Perform full part inspections with appropriate measuring tools and document results.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per shop standards.
Work with pressure-containing vessels and test equipment following safety and quality requirements.
Operate balancing equipment or qualify within training period.
Complete required training and maintain qualifications to work independently.
