Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Niagara Falls, NY is hiring a 1st Shift QC Inspector to develop and perform hardware and software setup for QCI test initiation and completion per production lot traveler.

You will report status daily to the Production Supervisor and ensure conformance to specifications. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading/writing skills for production documents, arithmetic ability, and good manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and write to interpret production documents and record information.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
• Eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills for small parts.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean workstation.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions and follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform hardware and software setup for QCI test initiation and completion per production lot traveler.
• Develop and perform QCI testing as defined by production lot traveler and ISO 9000 Level III work instructions.
• Determine conformance to specification requirements and characterize product performance.
• Prepare samples and test reports as required by VTF part specifications.
