Job summary

Progress Rail in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks an experienced Production Lead to supervise daily manufacturing of rail products. You will set schedules, allocate materials, and coach a diverse team to hit quality and safety targets while optimizing output.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience in a manufacturing/machining environment.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and production metrics and processes.
• Understanding of HR policies and applying them in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily production manufacturing of Progress Rail products.
• Sets up production schedules and assigns daily work.
• Verifies materials and tools are available for production.
• Coordinates with cross functional teams to ensure safe procedures.
• Coaches team to meet Quality, Safety, Velocity, and Cost metrics.
• Maintains KRONOS timekeeping duties and overtime approvals.
• Performs Safety, 5S, RCCA, CAPA audits and safety meetings.
