MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Production Operator for 1st shift at our Mundelein, Illinois facility. In this entry-level role you will operate equipment, inspect parts for quality, perform basic adjustments and complete production documentation while building foundational knowledge of production processes.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, using basic measuring tools, reading blueprints, and maintaining 5S standards with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment operation.
• Basic math and measurement skills with basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production equipment per work instructions.
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality.
• Make basic equipment adjustments and troubleshoot as needed.
• Use calipers, gauges and inspection tools to verify dimensions.
• Read blueprints and process documents as required.
• Record production data and complete documentation.
• Maintain 5S and safety procedures in work areas.
• Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
