Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Kentucky is seeking a Mixer to monitor and adjust dough to meet company standards, performing all phases of the mixing operation from ingredient handling to batch tickers.

You will adjust water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity with minimal supervision, monitor dough quality, and identify and correct issues.

The role includes training new mixer operators and assisting in other areas as directed by the supervisor in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• English reading and writing proficiency.
• Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge; food manufacturing experience desired.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand long periods, bend, twist, and climb as needed.
• Ability to give and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of the mixing operation from ingredient handling to batch tickers.
• Adjust water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity with minimal supervision.
• Monitor dough quality and identify problems and make necessary adjustments.
• Assist in training new mixer operators and stay up to date on new methods.
• Assist in other work areas as directed by the supervisor.
