Job summary

Mayzo, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager (1st Shift) to lead all production operations at the Mayzo Operations Center. You will oversee production personnel, drive continuous improvement, manage schedules, and ensure safe, on-time, high-quality manufacturing.

Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Operations leadership to achieve excellence and meet customer expectations. The role emphasizes safety, training, and data-driven decision making, with an emphasis on Lean manufacturing,

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, manufacturing, business, or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience and 3+ years in supervision.
• Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and ISO safety/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet schedules safely and efficiently.
• Plan staffing, workflow, and priorities to maximize productivity.
• Monitor metrics and take corrective actions to improve performance.
• Maintain production records, inventory transactions, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Logistics to maximize uptime and materials.
• Oversee training, coaching, and development of production staff.
