Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Production Lead in Niagara Falls, NY to oversee safety, quality, delivery, and productivity for their department. The role trains and integrates new associates, ensuring efficient daily operations on the 1st shift (7am-3pm or 6am-2pm). Base pay ranges from $20–$27/hr with a $2.00/hr Team Lead Premium, dependent on experience.

Base salaries reflect candidate skills and market conditions. The position requires U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw and apply valid conclusions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently up to 30, and occasionally up to 50.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the execution of production schedules and oversees the production processes.
• Provides expert guidance and leadership within their area of responsibility.
• Ability to learn and lead multiple departments and manufacturing processes.
• Reviews Daily Dispatch Reports for accuracy and maintains visibility of all jobs within the department.
• Ensures accurate clock-in/out and prompt handoff of completed jobs to next step.
• Provides technical support for production issues and leads training efforts.
• Escalates safety or performance concerns to supervisor or manager.
• Delivers calm, effective leadership to resolve issues and maintain flow.
• Promotes safety, quality, and accountability and supports Gemba Walk.
