Job summary

RBW Consulting is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support first-shift inspection activities in an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. You will perform hands-on dimensional inspections of precision components, interpreting drawings and GD&T to ensure quality and throughput.

Responsibilities include documenting results, identifying nonconformances, and collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to resolve issues and keep parts moving through release.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manual inspection experience in aerospace/defense/medical device or regulated manufacturing.
• Proficiency with manual inspection tools listed.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection best practices.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual dimensional inspections of precision manufactured components.
• Document inspection results and identify nonconformances or dimensional discrepancies.
• Support production by helping move parts efficiently through the inspection and release process.
• Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve inspection issues and maintain quality standards.
