Responsibilities

• Safely produce quality parts on time and in spec.
• Set up machine and any auxiliary equipment as required.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
• Maintain specifications by observing quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Complete secondary operations as needed (testing, trimming, assembly and packaging).
• Assist in improving quality, productivity, safety and pollution prevention.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting actions and communicating needs.
• Identify and prevent nonconformities relating to product, processes, or quality systems.
• Control further processing of nonconforming product until corrected.
• All other work assigned.
