Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is hiring a Production / Powder Coater for 1st shift (8–10 hrs/day) in Michigan. This full-time, temp-to-hire role blends powder coating with utility duties to keep production moving, including quality inspections, shipping/receiving, and basic maintenance.

Qualifications include reading blueprints, basic math, forklift experience or willingness to become certified, and ability to lift up to 50 lb while on your feet.

Qualifications

Knowledge of powder coating is a plus.
Experience with Okuma controls is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
Basic shop math skills, including decimals and geometry.
Forklift experience is or willingness to become certified.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Powder coating and production support.
Operate Hem Saw to cut and stage raw material.
Organize, label, paint, and store incoming raw material.
Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials.
Set up and operate drill and tap machines.
Monitor coolant, oil, and waste levels; replace as needed.
Perform quality checks on finished parts and assist with shipping/receiving.
