Armstrong Rapid Manufacturing in East Syracuse, NY, is seeking a first shift Utility Operator to support shipping, grit blasting, and plastics molding operations. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and hands-on production tasks in a small-team setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with manual dexterity (6 months' surface finishing experience preferable).
• Ability to read job travelers/job specifications.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist in Shipping to prepare shipments as needed.
• Grit blast plastic molded parts using the grit blaster machine.
• Perform plastics molding and related plastics department tasks as trained.
• Operate secondary operations equipment (fixtures, drills, taps with flexarm, cordless, air drills).
• Mix filler and hardener per instructions.
• Inspect parts and fill voids.
• Finish parts per job instructions using sandpaper, drills, and sanders.
• Verify counts and route parts to next location.
• Meet quality and quantity standards.
• Support ISO quality processes and Syteline MIS system.
• Accept ownership for new requests and add value to tasks.
• Follow safety policies and maintain housekeeping.
• Maintain regular on-time attendance and compliance with policies.
