Smithfield Foods is hiring General Production team members in a fast-paced meat processing environment. You will operate hand tools, knives and machinery on the line to produce high-quality products for families. Your reliability, attention to detail and teamwork will help sustain safety, quality, and efficiency every shift.

Starting pay is $19.70 per hour with a $0.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift, plus comprehensive health insurance and education benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Physical and stamina requirements for a production line role.
• Ability to follow safety rules and operate tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, knives and machinery to process meat products.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity on the line.
• Assist teammates and work overtime as production demands require.
