Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking General Production team members in the United States for our production lines. This role involves operating hand tools, knives, and machinery to process meat products while maintaining safety and quality.

You will be part of a hardworking team on a fast-paced shift that runs from 5:30pm to 5:30am, Monday through Friday and Saturdays, with potential overtime. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential for second shift positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand and perform physically demanding tasks for long shifts.
• Willing to work in cold and warm environments and around meat processing areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, knives, and machinery to process meat products.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on the production line.
• Support teammates and adapt to production demands including overtime.
