Job summary

The Vincit Group in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a dependable worker to wash and refurbish packaging materials used in the pack out stage of our chemical production process. This hands-on role keeps operations running smoothly and safely, handling totes, drums, and related containers with care in a busy chemical facility.

You will wear PPE at all times, operate a forklift/pallet jack, and maintain a clean, organized back dock. You will complete output paperwork and assist with routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in an industrial environment required.
• Preferred: 1+ years in a chemical production environment.
• Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the US; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
• Load and unload material from trailers using a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Maintain the back dock organization for inbound packaging items.
• Operate small hand tools used to refurbish totes.
• Operate tote wash island safely and efficiently.
• Operate drum wash station safely and efficiently.
• Follow chemical washout guidelines to prevent incompatible chemicals entering wastewater.
• Ensure packaging items are washed timely to prevent dock overflow.
• Complete output paperwork and submit to supervisor each shift.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
