Job summary

vincitgroup is hiring a Production - Forklift Operator in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on the Receiving side, unloading trucks, moving materials to staging, and assigning locations using a scan gun.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year shipping/receiving experience. You must be 18+, maintain safety, and collaborate with internal teams daily. First shift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Shipping and Receiving experience.
• Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the US.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Project a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company positively.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Ability to organize and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Receiving dock cleanliness, keeping product moving from being unloaded and into a location in a timely manner.
• Consistently process Staging area, and assign locations to each finished good item received from Production.
• Perform Quality Control checks on all products in the Staging area, maintain acceptable standards of cleanliness and product marking (stencils/barcodes).
• Willingness to train on all positions, and cover when needed.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude each day.
• Be willing to flow to work, helping others when possible.
• Complete other duties and special projects upon request.
