Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an assembly and pallet-load helper to prepare and load products for shipment. The role involves using a forklift, scanning items, and ensuring correct order routing in a chilled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include receiving tickets, directing pickers, wrapping pallets, and logging paperwork while maintaining safety and food-safety standards. Training for 3 weeks on 1st shift is required. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled.

Qualifications

• Operate high lift/forklift safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate safe work practices at all times.
• Pass certification to operate high lift/forklift.
• Able to lift 100 lbs consistently throughout shift.
• Work in cold environment around 28 degrees.

Responsibilities

• Receive load packets with pick tickets from load coordinator.
• Hand out pick tickets to pickers and locate product in Shop Floor system.
• Use forklift/high-lift to pick product and scan into orders.
• Wrap pallets with automated wrap machine after loading.
• Complete paperwork: talley sheet, seal tag, pallet report.
• Load trailers in shipment order meeting weight requirements and safety rules.
