Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced NDT PT Level II Inspector for a direct hire opportunity in Elk Grove Village, IL. This role involves performing liquid penetrant testing (PT), evaluating indications, conducting final inspections, and ensuring aerospace and defense components meet customer and industry requirements.

The position offers first shift, pay between $24 and $28 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 270 documented hours of on-the-job Liquid Penetrant Testing experience
• 32 hours of formal Liquid Penetrant Testing instruction
• Knowledge of penetrant inspection processes and acceptance/rejection criteria
• Ability to understand blueprints, specifications, codes, and standards
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills

Responsibilities

• Perform Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) and final inspections
• Interpret indications and determine acceptance/rejection
• Develop and modify part-specific inspection techniques
• Prepare, clean, wash, and process parts for inspection
• Read blueprints, codes, standards, and technical specifications
• Complete inspection documentation and track labor time
• Train and mentor employees developing penetrant inspection skills
• Participate in NDT training, certification exams, and continuous improvement activities
