Our client is a respected precision aluminum casting company in El Cajon working on high-value parts for the aerospace, defense, and medical industries. They're looking for a Level II Liquid Penetrant Inspector to join their quality team.

What you'll do

• Perform fluorescent and visible dye penetrant inspection of aluminum castings to approved procedures, using water-washable and post-emulsifiable methods.
• Interpret and evaluate indications such as shrinkage, porosity, and cracks against customer specifications.
• Classify, document, and elevate nonconformances to MRB.
• Run process control and equipment checks.
• Work with internal teams on quality improvement.
• Keep a safe, clean work area.

What you need

• Level II PT certification, current or previous, or training to obtain it promptly.
• Hands-on fluorescent penetrant inspection experience on aluminum castings, including setup, inspection, and documentation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Around 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience, ideally in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
