Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation is seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform non‑destructive evaluation of gas turbine engine components using FPI, MPI, Laser, C‑Scan, eddy current and X‑Ray techniques. Strong reading of blueprints and teamwork are essential.

The role requires HS diploma or GED and 3–5 years in manufacturing inspection, with 5+ years preferred. Certifications in MPI/FPI and X‑Ray II are preferred. E‑Verify compliance and safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED. Strong shop mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions required.
• On the job experience of 3–5 years as inspector in manufacturing environment.
• On the job experience of 5+ years in manufacturing environment preferred.
• MPI/FPI level II cert preferred.
• X‑Ray level II cert preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions, read and interpret blue prints.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs Laser inspection II, Ultrasonic inspection II, X‑Ray inspection II, up to MPI/FPI level II processing and inspection.
• May perform dimensional inspection, visual inspection, C of C generation, incoming inspection, repair scope generation and regulatory paperwork as per instructions and blueprints.
• All work to meet plant safety rules and highest quality standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines and related labor tasks as required.
• Prepare quality documents and verify quality of own work using inspection tools per specifications and drawings.
• Adhere to 5s / CPEX policies and maintain continuous improvement mindset.
