Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an NDT Inspector in Newnan, GA to perform non-destructive evaluation of gas turbine engine components, including FPI, MPI, Laser, C-Scan, eddy current and X-Ray techniques. You will follow work instructions, read blueprints, and produce accurate C of C documentation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires HS Diploma or GED, 3–5 years’ inspector experience, and certifications such as MPI/FPI and X-Ray Level II if available.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years on-the-job experience as inspector in manufacturing.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• MPI/FPI Level II certification preferred.
• X-Ray Level II certification preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs Laser, Ultrasonic, X-Ray inspections up to MPI/FPI level II.
• Conducts dimensional and visual inspections and generates documentation.
• Maintains safety and quality standards according to procedures.
• Performs routine maintenance on inspection equipment as needed.
• Prepares quality documents and verifies acceptance criteria per specs.
• Adheres to 5S/CPEX policies and supports continuous improvement.
