Job summary

Woods Equipment Company is seeking a Weld Operator to join our production team. You will weld components, set up fixtures, and ensure assemblies meet dimensional specifications in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of welding experience or training, with ability to pass our Welder I test. Safety and quality are top priorities in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year welding experience or training.
• Must pass Welder I qualification test.
• Must follow safety policies and PPE standards.
• Maintain organized and clean workstations.
• Strong communication across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Weld components under supervision in production environment.
• Set up and position components for welding with good hand-eye coordination.
• Perform welds per processes, instructions, and quality standards.
• Maintain weld fixture integrity and ensure assemblies meet specs.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specs.
• Adjust welding parameters and equipment for quality results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Meet production schedules with craftsmanship and attention to detail.
