Job summary
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG and TIG welders for projects located in or around Brownsville, OR. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $24-$32/hour based on experience and skill level.
If you are a welder, you will work alongside other craftsmen who emphasize safety and productivity to advance your career. Job scope includes shop fabrication welding, field welding, and reading blueprints and weld symbols, with travel occasionally for short projects.
Qualifications
- Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding.
- Strong fabrication and fitting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for short-duration projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding in a shop fabrication environment.
- Complete occasional field welding and installation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
- Fit, fabricate, and weld components to specifications.
- Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Grind, finish, and inspect completed welds.
- Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
