Job summary

OPTI STAFFING is hiring a Welder & Fabricator for a full-time, day-shift role in Clackamas, OR. Pay is $28–$30 per hour DOE, with overtime opportunities. The position involves MIG welding, fabrication, shop support, and occasional field work, in a hands-on environment focused on quality and safety.

You will read tape measures, operate a range of fabrication equipment, and work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or fabrication settings.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to travel for field work when required.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld structural steel and pipe to spec.
• Fabricate square, level, and plumb assemblies.
• Read and use tape measure accurately.
• Operate shop equipment (saws, shears, press brake, torch, plasma).
• Perform field work and occasional travel.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
