Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Indianapolis is seeking a full-time, warehouse-oriented worker to handle medical waste containers, operate autoclave and Washsmart systems, and ensure precise paperwork in a PPE-compliant environment.

The position runs on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 5:30 AM–3 PM) with full benefits from day one and a direct hire path, reflecting a stable, essential healthcare service role in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a VALID driver's license.
• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job.
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Proven longevity with employers.
• Can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs.
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers.
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials).
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system).
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers.
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably.
• Working well with a team!
