Job summary

ILink Resources, Inc. in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a 1st shift Assembler for a Monday–Friday role, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This position requires physical lifting, blueprint interpretation, and the use of measuring tools to assemble and test components according to specifications.

You will operate forklifts, document time and quality data, and maintain a clean, safe work area while collaborating with coworkers and management to ensure on-time production.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading and assembly experience.
• Able to lift heavy materials.
• Experience with measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Transport components to the assembly station and arrange in order for assembly.
• Interpret the assembly blueprint as to the proper sequence and method.
• Assemble components and test assembly (if applicable) to blueprint specifications using a large variety of hand tools and equipment.
• Document time and associated paperwork.
• Transport finished assemblies to the holding area for inspection and stock placing.
• Clean and keep area in an orderly and safe condition.
• Requirements: adjustments and testing of assemblies.
• Requires tack welding occasionally.
• Operate sit down and stand-up forklifts after passing forklift test.
• Read, write and communicate clearly to coworkers and management.
• Proficiency with measuring tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the use of computers to enter and retrieve information.
