Job summary

Roche in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Supervisor of Manufacturing & Incoming Quality Control to lead 1st-shift manufacturing and IQC operations, ensuring timely inspection, release, and compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Technical Supplier Management, Supplier Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, and Metrology to drive continuous improvement, uphold GMP/QSR, and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a regulated industry with 3 years of direct people leadership experience.
• Strong Lean/CI experience and ability to read engineering blueprints and GD&T symbols.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1st-shift manufacturing and Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate personnel and equipment to meet goals.
• Oversee inspection and release of incoming materials; manage MRB Hold and IQC Hold areas.
• Collaborate with Technical Supplier Management, Supplier Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, and Metrology.
• Ensure GMP and QSR compliance; support audits and training.
• Drive Lean initiatives to reduce variation, optimize inspection times, and eliminate waste.
• Monitor metrics like Right First Time and release times; drive improvements.
• Recruit, train, and coach direct reports with servant leadership.
