Job summary

Jackson Furniture in Tennessee manufactures sofas, love seats and chairs. This role supports production by feeding materials, supplying parts to teams and assembling furniture on lines, using hand and power tools. You will monitor the production process and ensure safety is the top priority during a fast-paced shift.

Candidates should have prior manufacturing experience, be able to bend, lift up to 60 lbs, and work with power tools. Punctuality and teamwork are essential in this environment.

Qualifications

• Previous fast-paced manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to use power tools to assemble parts.
• Must perform job with safety as top priority.

Responsibilities

• Feed raw materials into production machinery.
• Assemble furniture on production lines.

Job summary:Employees work either individually or as a team in manufacturing and distribution of sofas, love seats, and chairs.Summary of essential job functions:Feed raw materials into production machinerySupply materials to other departments/team membersAssemble furniture on production linesUse tools to assemble/manufacture furnitureMonitor the production processMeeting physical requirements of the positionBe able to work with small air-powered toolsOther duties to be performed as directed by supervisor(s)Work Environment: Regularly works around a manufacturing environment and will experience conditions that include cold, or heat and humidity. Noise levels may be loud at times.Physical Demands: Must be able to move and lift objects overtime without fatigue.
