Job summary

Jackson Furniture Industries is seeking manufacturing workers to operate on production lines and assist in the assembly of sofas, love seats, and chairs. You will feed raw materials into machinery, supply materials to teams, and assemble components using power tools while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow.

Ideal candidates have prior fast-paced manufacturing experience, can handle repetitive lifting, and will follow supervisor directions in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous fast-paced manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to use power tools (such as staple guns) to assemble parts.
• Ability to show up to work on-time, every day, and take direction from supervisor(s) in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to move and lift objects overtime without fatigue.
• Must be able to stand for long shifts and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

Job summary:Employees work either individually or as a team in manufacturing and distribution of sofas, love seats, and chairs.Summary of essential job functions:Feed raw materials into production machinerySupply materials to other departments/team membersAssemble furniture on production linesUse tools to assemble/manufacture furnitureMonitor the production processMeeting physical requirements of the positionBe able to work with small air-powered toolsOther duties to be performed as directed by supervisor(s)Work Environment: Regularly works around a manufacturing environment and will experience conditions that include cold, or heat and humidity. Noise levels may be loud at times.Physical Demands: Must be able to move and lift objects overtime without fatigue.
