Job summary

Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production objectives through comprehensive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.

This role ensures continuity between engineering and management by performing preventative maintenance and rapid troubleshooting of process equipment. Qualifications

• Associates degree in technical discipline or 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and electronics.
• Willingness to learn and attend training classes.
• CMMS proficiency.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Basic welding skills a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Good communication and ability to work flexible shifts.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs hands-on maintenance per production priorities, repairing and troubleshooting equipment and support systems.
• Supervises maintenance contractors when required.
• Maintains a Maintenance Action Log per equipment for repairs and preventive maintenance baseline.
• Participates in startup/shutdown activities and maintenance task planning.
• Collaborates with vendors and OEMs for parts pricing and repair recommendations.
• Adheres to safety practices during maintenance work orders.
• Keeps the Maintenance Department area clean and tools properly stored.
• Complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
