Job summary

Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. is seeking a Machining Operator in Rock Spring, GA to perform visual quality checks on raw and machined aluminum parts and to load/unload components in a CNC environment.

The role supports the machining department across shifts and collaborates with line leaders and supervisors to meet production goals. Responsibilities include ensuring quality, maintaining safety, and assisting other departments as needed, with a focus on meeting production targets and reporting any

Qualifications

• Preferred 2 years of forklift experience.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build friendly work relationships.
• Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Visual quality check of raw cast aluminum products.
• Visual quality check of machined aluminum products.
• Loading of raw cast aluminum product into manual CNC machine.
• Unloading of machined product from CNC machine.
• Loading conveyor with machined aluminum products.
• End of shift area clean up – or as needed.
• Must be able to work where needed in the machining department.
• Must be able to support other departments as and when needed.
• Assist line leaders, supervisors, managers in other tasks assigned.
• Report for additional work to the immediate supervisor when tasks are complete.
