Job summary

P&F Machining, Inc. in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking a General Plant Assistant (Machinist I) to support overall manufacturing operations with basic machine operation and shop cleanup on first shift. The role requires accuracy and time efficiency, with strong attention to detail and good communication.

A high school diploma is required; prior manufacturing experience is preferred. Must live in surrounding communities; out-of-state applications will not be considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating mircometers and calipers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and packaging support.
• Milling and turning support.
• Deburring and tumbling.
• Monitor and maintain coolant and lubricant levels on machines.
• Complete product sorts.
• Perform 100% inspection on parts and materials as directed.
• Complete special inspection projects with direction.
• Ensure segregation and identification of non-conforming product.
• Keep the shop clean and organized.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner.
