Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Worker to operate machinery, handle materials, and support daily production targets at our Ocala, FL site. The role requires reading production orders, adhering to safety rules, and maintaining quality.

You will work on a fast-paced line, lift up to 40 pounds, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits; on-site work with exposure to varying outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years production and/or shipping experience.
• Read and understand a production order.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
• may train others as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operates machine and instructs line help to meet production, customer and company goals.
• Support company core values and maintain a safe work environment.
• Read and understand a production order.
• Meet productivity requirements and quality standards.
• Use forklift, crane and manual material handling; document materials produced.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisor and management.
• Maintain promotability to Operator II/III.
• Standing and walking 8 to 12 hours daily.
• Extreme conditions outside (hot, cold, rain, sun).
