Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Support Associate to provide responsive and efficient manufacturing support. The role handles customer orders, maintains equipment, and participates in inventory tasks within a fast-paced plant environment.

The pay rate is $16.00–$16.30 per hour with a 6:00 am–2:30 pm shift, Monday to Friday, and overtime/weekend opportunities. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 25 pounds, read a tape

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Verifiable Dependability and Energetic.
• Requires experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns.
• Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Quality and Safety Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Assist with inventory control and material tracking when necessary.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and quality procedures at all times.
