Job summary

Vestis® is seeking team members to join our industrial laundry facility where you will handle merchandise safely and efficiently as part of a production team.

You will fold linens, verify quantities, and prepare bundles while maintaining high quality standards. The job may include weekends and overtime as needed, and requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to attendance and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart in lift table, secures safety chain, and raises the table.
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Places bundles in storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Manoeuvres full and empty baskets.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows production safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
