Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Lead Operator for our Mogul Department on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM) in Texas. You will lead daily operations, guide a team, and ensure safe, efficient production of trusted brands like Garden of Life, Nature’s Bounty, and BOOST.

You’ll supervise tasks, monitor process parameters, and uphold GMP/SOP standards while promoting a safe, organized work environment. Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operator experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or factory setting preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and other digital tools.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, climb, and move throughout shift.
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and manage the department in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
• Assign tasks and support team members to meet production goals.
• Operate, set up, clean, and adjust machinery independently and with a team.
• Monitor and control process parameters to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Perform quality checks and in-process inspections.
• Complete data entry using paper forms, computers, or tablets.
• Train and mentor colleagues on procedures, safety, and equipment.
• Identify and elevate issues to supervisors when needed.
• Support overflow tasks and assist across departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adhere to GMPs and SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
