Job summary

United Alloy is looking for an experienced CNC laser operator to join our team in Wisconsin. You will load CAD data, adjust settings, and run CO2 or fiber laser processes to cut and engrave parts to spec.

The role requires 2+ years of laser-cutting experience, blueprint reading, and strong safety practices. On-site hours are Monday–Friday with possible overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience operating CO2 or Fiber laser-cutting machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD inputs.
• Solid understanding of CNC processes and metal fabrication concepts.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Align and secure materials on the laser cutting table.
• Load and interpret CAD files or designs into the machine control.
• Adjust power, speed, and focus based on material type and thickness.
• Operate the laser to cut or engrave per design with accuracy.
• Inspect parts for specified dimensions and quality.
• Maintain machine and perform routine checks and safety compliance.
