Job summary

Daifuku is a leading material handling solutions provider seeking a Material Handler in Hobart, IN for 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM). You will perform receiving and unloading, verify shipment condition, and maintain records using a range of handling equipment.

Responsibilities include counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and loading/unloading materials. Adhere to Daifuku's QA policies and continuous improvement goals; HS diploma and 1 year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Good communications, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle, move, load and unload materials by hand or with equipment.
• Operate forklifts, tow motors, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform receiving, unloading, counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
• Load/unload materials onto trucks and loading docks.
• Assist in inventory, weigh, and check materials.
• Adhere to safety policies and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
