Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist in McDonough, GA. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, performing cycle counts, and coordinating with leadership to resolve discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have forklift and inventory experience, plus proficiency with MS Word and Excel. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: forklift and inventory experience preferred
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Solve inventory discrepancies during normal warehousing operations to ensure efficient workflow and communicate with leadership.
• Perform cycle count, work orders, and other inventory checks to answer customer inquiries.
• Responsible for the entry or update of inventory records in the system to correct discrepancies.
• Acts as a liaison for any warehouse-related needs regarding internal or external audits or customer and agency visits.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and take corrective action by utilizing hold reports, lot audit reports, and inventory aging reports.
• Prepare inventory reports for customers and/or facility needs.
