Job summary

Altor Solutions in New Albany, IN is seeking an Inspector Packer to perform production, inspection and packing tasks for our molded products. You will report to the Production Supervisor or designated lead if quality does not meet standards, following safety, housekeeping and production guidelines.

The role requires reading and following packing instructions, performing quality checks with calipers and scales, and recording data in ERP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Removes product from conveyor and packs into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Performs visual inspections and uses measuring devices to ensure quality.
• Enter data properly in ERP and maintain clean, organized work area.
• Pack and inspect product at up to 60 parts per minute and lift 40 pounds.
• Follow safety guidelines and report issues to supervision.
