Job summary

Alleguard, a leader in protective foam solutions, is hiring an Inspector Packer to join our on-site team. You will inspect and sort molded parts for defects, pack items to defined packaging, and record production data during the shift. You’ll maintain a clean work area and comply with environmental and safety policies.

This full-time, day-shift role in Bastrop, Texas offers $16.00 USD per hour, Monday–Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed based on demand.

Qualifications

• Inspect molded or assembled parts for defects.
• Pack parts into predefined packaging according to quality specs.
• Record production data during shift.

Responsibilities

• Pack acceptable parts into pre-defined packaging or pallet configurations.
• Perform secondary operations per requirement (rework, assembly, repack).
• Discard or reject non-conforming products or materials.
• Label containers with designated information per standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; dispose of rejects properly.
• Transfer parts in/out of curing oven as instructed.
• Follow environmental and safety policies.

Position: Inspector Packer
Job Summary
Inspect and sort molded or assembled parts or products for defects, and/or deviations from specifications. Pack parts into designated packaging or pallet configurations based on customer requirements and/or standard quality specifications.
Pay: $16.00 USD/HR
Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday
• 5:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
• Flexibility is a must; Overtime, weekends required based on customer demand.
  

Responsibilities

• Pack acceptable parts into pre-defined packaging or pallet configurations according to the established quality standard.
• Perform secondary operations per requirement to meet customer specifications. This may include part rework, assembly, and/or repack tasks.
• Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
• Mark/label completed container(s)/bundle(s) with designated item information according to the established quality standards.
• Record production data accurately during shift and complete Secondary Operations documentation as required.
• Remove molded parts from WIP container and perform visual inspection for conformance to established quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work area making sure to properly discard rejected parts and to keep area free of debris.
• Transfer parts in/out of the curing oven as required/instructed.
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
• Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
• Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
• Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Physical Demands

• Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
