Job summary

Clark-Reliance is seeking an Industrial Sandblaster/Painter for first shift (Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm) to spray paint and sandblast product lines, inspect parts, and document work. Candidates should be computer literate with roughly one year of related experience.

You will operate spray booths, maintain equipment, handle materials, and follow safety procedures in an ISO environment. This is a hands-on shop floor role with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year industrial related painting / sandblasting experience preferred.
• Industrial and marine coatings experience using zinc, epoxy's and/or polyurethanes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications helpful.
• Computer literate preferred.
• Ability to handle non-routine, standard projects and tasks.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.

Responsibilities

• Spray paint and sandblast products using appropriate equipment.
• Inspect, test and/or evaluate all parts manufactured in the specific assembly area and perform quality related analysis.
• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of materials and inventory.
• May track inventory or prepare other documentation on a computer.
• Visually inspect product to ensure it has not been damaged or deteriorated during handling, storage, packaging or shipping.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as required to maintain equipment in top operational order.
• Effectively perform material handling activities such as crating, packing, shipping, receiving, picking, lifting, moving and using materials handling equipment when necessary.
• Utilize small and large tools, hoists, dollies, and other devices when necessary.
• Comply with all safety procedures in each area assigned, including wearing protective clothing and proper handling.
• Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company and with suppliers, customers and peers.
• Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
• Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
• Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
• Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
