Job summary

Clark-Reliance is seeking a first shift Industrial Sandblaster/Painter in the United States. The role involves spray painting and sandblasting on assigned product lines, with hours Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in painting/sandblasting and familiarity with safety procedures and ISO quality standards. Responsibilities include documenting materials, inspecting parts, and handling materials using cranes and other equipment.

Qualifications

• One year industrial related painting / sandblasting experience preferred.
• Industrial and marine coatings experience using zinc, epoxy's and/or polyurethanes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications helpful.
• Computer literate preferred.
• Ability to handle non-routine, standard projects and tasks.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.

Responsibilities

• Spray paint and sandblast products using appropriate equipment.
• Inspect, test and/or evaluate all parts manufactured in the specific assembly area and perform quality related analysis.
• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of materials and inventory.
• May track inventory or prepare other documentation on a computer.
• Visually inspect product to insure it has not been damaged or has not deteriorated during handling, storage, packaging or shipping.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as required to maintain equipment in top operational order.
• Effectively perform material handling activities such as crating, packing, shipping, receiving, picking, lifting, moving and using materials handling equipment when necessary.
• Utilize small and large tools, hoists, dollies, and other devices when necessary.
• Comply with all safety procedures in each area assigned.
• Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively.
• Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
