Job summary

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Painter to apply paint and coatings using electrostatic / air assist guns on company products, including military spec paint. The role covers all areas of the paint process with emphasis on quality and safety in a Dodge Center, MN environment.

Pay range is $20–$28.34 per hour. The position requires following safety procedures, maintaining equipment, and participating in training for hazardous waste handling as per EPA RCRA rules.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of industrial painting experience or completion of internal paint training program or an evaluated equivalent.
• Must be able to read checklists, paint codes, Safety logs, JSA's, SWI's etc.

Responsibilities

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following safety procedures.
• Inspect product before, during, and after paint to ensure specs.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble painting equipment.
• Apply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing as required.
• Assist training new team members on processes and equipment functions.
