Job summary

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a paint process operator to apply coatings using electrostatic and air-assisted paint guns on Company products, including military spec finishes.

The role covers multiple areas of the paint process and requires attention to quality and safety standards. The position offers opportunities to work with automated painting equipment, participate in onboarding and ongoing training, and contribute to the company's high-performance refuse truck body lines

Qualifications

• One year of applicable position experience.
• Able to read checklists, paint codes, safety logs, JSA's, etc.
• Able to paint an entire body or parts kits meeting targets.
• Ability to train new team members and cross-train existing team members on painting.

Responsibilities

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles using spray equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment per safety rules.
• Inspect products at various stages to ensure specifications.
• Assist training of new team members on processes and equipment.
