Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for first shift at a specialized industrial processing facility. You will diagnose mechanical problems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond quickly when equipment goes down.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial equipment, strong troubleshooting ability, reading manuals, and attention to safety.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, millwright, equipment-repair, or maintenance-mechanic work.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair ability.
Experience with hand tools, power tools and industrial maintenance equipment.
Ability to diagnose problems rather than relying on step-by-step instruction.
Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, or similar processing equipment.
Dependable attendance and consistent availability for first shift.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial production and processing equipment
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
Respond to breakdowns and identify the source of mechanical failures
Repair or replace bearings, belts, motors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and related components
Support basic electrical troubleshooting based on experience
Maintain packaging and material-handling equipment
Make mechanical adjustments to improve equipment performance
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility repairs
Document completed maintenance and communicate recurring concerns
Maintain an organized work area, tools, and replacement parts
