Job summary

Villari Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Harvest Plant. You will maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and rebuild industrial equipment, following diagrams and manuals. One year of experience minimum is required, with a high school diploma or GED and a related degree or experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field is required.
• Minimum one-year experience as a technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery by completing preventative maintenance on equipment, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision instruments.
• Control downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance techniques.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintain inventories by checking stock and expediting orders as needed.
• Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Provide maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
